Back to enemies, disposing of the Mist’s one-eyed Byakugan user is proving difficult as one of Danzo’s slaves lackeys ninja escorts tries to make the Mist nin kill himself. However, there are too many protective jutsus around it, so he resorts to making a sort of guillotine so he can escape the body at the last second before death. But the Mist nin taunts that he might be able to evade the sickle the split second when his body is released. Hm. Useless suspense is useless. Do we really care what Danzo is doing?

Anyways, now we find out why Kisame got partnered with such a strong person (Itachi) – he evidently gets stronger as the battle passes because he can convert his opponent’s chakra into his own stamina. Therefore, he is the “tailed beast without a tail”...well, at least those people who predicted that Kisame was the eight-tail container were close. The old guy tries to say “Take his sword away then!” but then irony happens and Kisame fuses with his sword to become this ugly thing: [link]

Of course, Romeo is dominated by Juliet. Forehead-tan pulled her hair up for this play...I’m disappointed...come on, it’s a leading role, so couldn’t you at least comb your bangs to the side and look moé for the fans...

Sadly, though, the moé was lessened even more because only one scene (Juliet killing herself) was shown. Damn, I was hoping to see Mio and Forehead-tan stumbling through their roles.

Poor Azusa is debating between “Wow, they worked so hard for the play!” and “They forgot about the concert, didn’t they?!”

Of course, the club perseveres by staying overnight to practice, where we get our moé:

Yui: When I’m in school at night, I get all pumped! Kinda weird, huh?
Ritsu: Yeah, I know what you mean! Kinda makes you want to do stuff, right?
Yui: Mi~o~cha~n -Pokes-
Mio: Hm? W-what exactly are you doing?

And of course, Azusa plays the straight man and says “everybody’s starting to act funny”. If it were me, I would’ve said “Do what you want, Yui! ...just keep it PG-13.”

Sawa-chan shows up with a decent outfit for once: a club T-shirt. Finally. Speaking of which, lucky them, they got it for free. I have to pay like seven bucks for my club T-shirt, and I bought T-shirts for 2 of my clubs...

Though it turns out that everyone has that T-shirt, even Nodoka, who reveals that she became the president of Mio’s fanclub after all.

So, the concert passes by in the blink of an eye, with everyone falling asleep in the end.

Ah, I wonder what next chapter will be? Will there be a graduation chapter coming out soon, like in Lucky Star? Speaking of which, that particular manga needs to be scanned more...the site I use is barely on Chapter 25...

"2ch suspected trace gallery":
2ch has accused several artists for tracing before, but this is more like a gag gallery comparing random things that happens to look similar. While some of images are rated M, there are some good ones in there. For example, Rie Kugimiya wearing a striped shirt and...a washboard. I bet the stripes weren't the only thing the poster was thinking about.

(For those of you who don't get it, Rie Kugimiya once was compared to Aisaka Taiga, whom she voices. Taiga happens to be flat-chested.)

Mio from K-ON! (the scene in the OP where she's waving her hands around) is compared to Tien Shinhan from DBZ. Fascinating, but a poor comparison - the only thing they have in common is the way their hands are positioned.
